Method

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan. Warm the milk in a separate pan until lukewarm.

  2. Dissolve yeast in a small bowl with a little lukewarm milk

  3. Sieve flour into a large bowl and make a well in the centre.

  4. Pour the yeast mixture into the well. Place eggs and salt around the edge

  5. Knead by hand for a good while until a smooth

  6. Leave to rise in a warm

  7. Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.
